Marvin Ik ken de film eigenlijk helemaal niet buiten dat ik de figuurtjes wel eens voorbij heb zien huppelen in een filmpje, maar dit ziet er als gebied sfeervol uit.

De film is echt de moeite waard. Ik vond 't ook als volwassene echt heel erg vermakelijk.

    Meh, ik vond Zootopia op z'n best 'forgettable'. De Belle-en-het-Beest-uitbreiding in Tokyo spreekt me duizend keer meer aan. 🙂

    De bouw is officieel gestart voor Zootopia!

    Shanghai Disney Resort has announced that construction has started on Shanghai Disneyland’s immersive Zootopia expansion, with site preparation work now completed.
    The Zootopia attraction will be Shanghai Disneyland’s eighth themed land. It will also be the first Zootopia-themed expansion at a Disney park.

    “This is an immensely exciting time for Shanghai Disney Resort and Zootopia fans alike,” said Joe Schott, president and general manager, Shanghai Disney Resort. Since we announced the development of our new Zootopia-themed land earlier this year we have been overwhelmed by the excitement and anticipation expressed by fans from across China and around the world.”

    Zootopia will be located adjacent to Fantasyland. It will be a diverse and vibrant city inhabited by characters from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film.


    These will include Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, as well as Flash the Sloth, Gazelle, Officer Clawhauser, Chief Bogo and Yax the Yak. Shanghai Disneyland currently features a themed construction wall with characters from Zootopia, including Flash and polar bear. More characters will be added to the wall in the coming months.

    Zootopia is the second major expansion of Shanghai Disney Resort, following the opening of Disney Pixar Toy Story Land.

    “We are pleased to announce the start of main construction for the new land today, a significant milestone in its development. This expansion demonstrates Shanghai Disney Resort’s commitment to bringing new and unique experiences to our guests, offering more reasons for them to come visit us again and again,” added Schott.

    Ik ben onwijs benieuwd, en zoals het gebied staat aangewezen in de tweet wordt het niet al te klein hoor! Vraag me echt af wat voor een attractie ze er in zullen stoppen 🙂 Wat voor een type attractie zal het beste passen?

      In de disney dish (was het volgens mij) vertelden ze dat het ging lijken op het ritsysteem van king kong/ fast and the furious uit Universal Studios Orlando. Dus dat je met een grote groep mensen in 1 bus zit.

          Hjalmar Oehhhh, dan zullen we binnenkort wel langzaam een layout er in op kunnen maken zoals we nu in Tokyo kunnen met Fantasy Springs 😀

          Flying_Bryan Dat is ook wel echt heel interessant, hopelijk zal het dan niet zoals in Universal alleen maar schermen en 360 graden theaters worden maar toch ook wel veel meer theming :/

              Interessant, dat is de eerste keer dat Disney zo'n type attractie neer zet, nietwaar? Ik denk dat het wel een geschikt attractietype is voor een attractie gebaseerd op Zootopia, zo krijg je een beetje een (stads)safari-idee door de verschillende biotopen van Zootopia. Is aan de hand van de footprint van de attractie al een beetje in te schatten hoeveel de attractie op schermen gaat leunen? Ik verwacht in ieder geval temperatuureffecten voor scenes over de toendra-, jungle- en mogelijk woestijnbiotopen.

                Ik vond zowel Fast and the Furious en King Kong echt de 2 Universal attracties die het wachten niet waard waren. Zelfs met de 5 minuten wachtrij toen ik er was. Het zijn capaciteitsmonsters dus dat is het enige waarom Disney het zou bouwen. Qua ervaring is het echt Disney onwaardig.

                  ppc-anoniem-2 Ik vond zowel Fast and the Furious en King Kong echt de 2 Universal attracties die het wachten niet waard waren.

                  Ik vond juist die twee attracties nog wel uitgesproken van een ander niveau. Ik had voor allebei relatief lage verwachtingen en vond uiteindelijk King Kong nog best wel tof. Er waren genoeg echte dingen te zien, ik vond veel scenes kort en divers genoeg en het einde is gelukkig niet zo'n videotunnel. Omdat King Kong me daardoor best wel meeviel was Fast & Furious inderdaad wel een extra grote deceptie. Dat ding zou zelfs in een park van mindere kwaliteit nog misstaan, laat staan in Universal. Echt om te huilen zo slecht.

                    'Disney' en 'snel' zijn helaas twee woorden die niet in hetzelfde woordenboek staan 😉

                    Maar mooi om te zien dat het niet stil ligt in ieder geval! Ik ben benieuwd naar wat het gaat worden, iets met het ritsysteem van King Kong / Fast and the Furious zie ik nog best wel gebeuren. Het park schreeuwt om capaciteitsuitbreiding dus laat maar komen 😃

                    Ben zo benieuwd hoe ze dit willen wegwerken naast de Seven Dwarfs Mine Train...
